Molweni Safaris Africa - Hunting Safari Description
Molweni, which covers 8,500 hectares (22,000 acres) of pristine Eastern Cape bush, is home to a wide variety of birds and
animals. Antelope include an unbelievable variety - Springbok, Steenbok, Mountain Reedbuck, Red Hartebeest,
Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe, Buffalo, Gemsbok, Duiker, Impala, Eland, Kudu, Nyala, Bushbuck, Blesbuck and Blue and Black Wildebeest. There is a wide variety of smaller and other animals indigenous to the area such as Warthogs, Bat-Eared Foxes, Porcupine, Leopard, Antbear, Gennets, Aardwolf, etc
The first evening is spent settling into the Imababala Lodge and getting to know your Professional Hunter.
Enjoy a sumptuous meal of traditional South African fare.
Each day will cover different hunting areas, ranging from the mountainous & wooded areas of the Waterkloof valley where Kudu abound, to flats of the Molweni Reserve hunting for Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Warthog and the like.
Depending on where the hunt takes you, you will either enjoy a packed lunch in the bush or return to a hearty brunch at the lodge.
From the very beginning when we started the company one of our main purposes was to ensure that we provide
an ethical hunt to our customers. We pride ourselves upon this.
We do not shoot from, or near, a vehicle. All our hunting is done by walking and stalking. Hunting is done only during the day, except for Bushpig, Cape Grysbok and other species that may be legally hunted at night.
We also conduct Safaris in all other Provinces of South Africa and neighbouring countries.
Birdshooting Safaris take place in prime shooting locations, whether Francolin (Partridge) over well-schooled pointers or waterfowl with trained retrievers. We have excellent dove/pigeon shooting over sunflowers when in season. Real hot-barrel shooting.
Deep sea fishing charters are also arranged for those who would like to do a bit of fishing before or after a Safari.
Photographic and sightseeing tours with qualified tour guides can be tailored to suit your needs.
